Описание: The American Corner is glad to announce the Poetry Contest in honor of World Poetry Day!!!
The 2007 Poetry Contest has two categories.
The first is “The Best Poetry Reader”:
Each participant in this category should bring a piece of American poetry.
You can read from memory or from text of either an old or modern poem. The readings will be March 12, 2007 at 5 pm.
The second category is “The best Interpreted Poem”
Choose any American poetry you like and interpret it into Russian. Please send your translations to [email protected] for review.
On March 12 we will announce the winners and give out prizes!
Also, Sally Barret makes the American Poetry review on March 12.
